Come and learn about birding, including how to use binoculars and a field guide. St. Paul Bird Alliance collaborates with the St. Paul Public Library and the Urban Bird Collective to offer this beginning birding field trip.
DIRECTIONS Traveling east on I94, take exit 242D to merge onto US-52 S (this is the Lafayette Fwy); travel 1.8 miles; take the MN-156/Concord St. exit; travel 0.1 miles; turn right onto Cesar Chavez St; travel 0.7 miles to George St. E.; slight left onto George St E; travel 0.3 miles; destination on right. INFORMATION Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes. Bring a brimmed hat, water, sunblock and bug dope. Loaner binoculars will be available.
REGISTRATION Required registration and limited to 15 participants. [Registration link available on SPBA website after May 1]
DIFFICULTY We will start at the Riverview Library, walk around the neighborhood, and visit the bluffs and a small pocket park.
