Land of Lakes Bird Alliance invites you to our spring book club and Earth Day webinar. This year, we visit the theme of anthropogenic extinction through Joel Greenberg’s book, A Feathered River Across the Sky: The Passenger Pigeon’s Flight to Extinction.
We are pleased to host Mr. Greenberg in conversation with Minnesota’s own Laura Erickson, award-winning writer, birder, and ornithologist, on Wednesday, April 23, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Central.
Please register for our free public program and read the book. By April 12th, submit questions about the book for Dr. Greenberg to contact@llbirdalliance.org.
Joel Greenberg is a research associate of the Chicago Academy of Sciences Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum and the Field Museum. Author of three books, including A Natural History of the Chicago Region, Greenberg has taught natural history courses for the Morton Arboretum, Brookfield Zoo, and Chicago Botanic Garden.
