Nest Cams Put You in the Catbird Seat

One of the most endearing thing about birds is how much of their lives are lived on view, out in the open. We watch them drinking and bathing, foraging for food and eating it, resting on perches and even copulating. We can observe nearly every aspect of avian life—except for the most important of all, their lives as parents. That’s almost always been hidden, tucked away inside a cup nest back in a shrub or within a tree cavity. Until now.

Chapter Membership

Chapter Membership – To best support Saint Paul Bird Alliance’s mission, we ask that you become a  Chapter Member.  100% of your membership fee/donations go to Saint Paul Bird Alliance’s work providing local programming, field trips, grants, and outreach.

This membership level includes access to Saint Paul Bird Alliance events, field trips, and information services.

The following gifts directly to Saint Paul Bird Alliance qualify for Chapter Membership:

  • Monthly recurring fee of $5 or more
  • Annual Recurring fee of $25 or more
  • A one-time donation of $25 or more
Your membership donations: 
  • Support grants to local organizations focused on conservation, education, and environmental action and education.
  • Bring speakers to our monthly chapter meetings (Sept-May) that educate and excite our passion for birds and the environment.
  • Create and supply educational opportunities for East Metro students.
  • Support critical community science activities.
  • Protect populations of at-risk bird species through habitat restoration and special projects.
  • Provide informational and informative field trips.

2025 Annual Report

2025 was an excellent year for the Saint Paul Bird Alliance. We provided a robust schedule of field trips, presented many exciting programs, mentored students during our Big River events, and provided grants to some incredible community projects. This only happened because of our donors and volunteers. Thanks to them, and all to you, for a great year. To find out more, please read our most recent annual report.
